What sets MuniSupport apart is the depth and breadth of our team's real, hands-on experience inside local government itself, not just familiarity with it from the outside. Our leadership team brings 50 years of combined experience across municipal management, public safety, emergency response, community relations and communications, and municipal legal counsel.
That experience spans every level of local government operations. Our team has served in law enforcement, including corrections and community-facing police work focused on crime prevention. It has held the top operational role in multiple municipalities, serving as city and village manager, responsible for day-to-day government operations and emergency management coordination. It includes direct experience fostering economic development partnerships at the municipal level. And it includes legal counsel experience, serving as general counsel to municipalities, fire districts, police departments, and townships, providing a detailed understanding of the legal and operational realities governmental entities face.
On top of that governmental foundation, our team brings 30 years of combined consulting experience, working directly with businesses and commercial property owners to navigate regulatory challenges, foster growth, and ensure compliance. Several members of our team also bring direct experience in commercial real estate law, including negotiating and drafting commercial leases and commercial association covenants, giving us fluency in both sides of the table: how local government actually operates, and how commercial property ownership and management actually works.
